Alleged mob boss Joseph Merlino is a free man today thanks to a shocking hung jury verdict in New York The suspected Philadelphia crime boss, known as Skinny Joey, was facing racketeering charges in a highly publicized trial that exposed an East Coast network for all sorts of illegal activities Merlino refused to take a plea deal, and his bold decision paid off.
